Golfing for Schools Card
Excellence in Education Foundation’s Golfing For Schools cards are now on sale. The transferable cards cost $400 and are valid for 18-holes of play at eight of North Tahoe and Truckee’s premiere golf courses, including: Coyote Moon, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Old Brockway, Old Greenwood, Resort at Squaw Creek, Tahoe City, Tahoe Donner and new this year, Gray’s Crossing. Some restrictions apply.
Cards may be purchased at Porters Sports in Truckee or at www.exined.org. There is an eight-card per person purchase limit and additional restrictions do apply. Lift tickets

Golf deals at Squaw Creek
Resort at Squaw Creek is offering the Creek Card for $99, which grants card holders 50 percent off every round played, and other perks like a free bucket of range balls per visit.
Additionally, for families, the golf course offers a Family Golf Special offering families the opportunity to play a quick and easy round of golf on Resort at Squaw Creek's front nine holes from the family tees (located approximately 150 yards from the green) after 5:30 p.m. The Family Golf Special is $45 per adult, with children 17-and-under playing free with paying adult. Village at Squaw special
Cable Car tickets and swimming lagoon access is offered to mid-week guests at The Village at Squaw Valley USA. Nine & Dine deal
Resort at Squaw Creek is offering its Nine & Dine package for golfers to nine holes in late afternoon and follow the time on the links with a prix-fixe three-course dinner in Six Peaks Grille for $59 per person; tax is included, but gratuity is not included. Because the dinner coincides with Three-Course Thursdays, $2 from each dinner is donated to the Tahoe Forest Cancer Center.
The Nine & Dine is available on Thursdays through the summer and fall with a round of golf beginning between 4 and 5:30 p.m. Dinner in Six Peaks Grille is served until 10 p.m. For reservation, call (530) 581-6637.

Incline golf specials
The Golf Courses at Incline Village will be offering Happy Hour Golf at both the Championship and Mountain Courses. Incline Village/Crystal Bay residents with a valid recreation picture pass and their local Tahoe Basin guests may golf for $5 and $10, respectively, at the Championship Course after 5 p.m. Sunday and Tuesday. A free clinic will be held Sundays at 4:30 at the Driving Range.
Local Tahoe Basin residents can play The Mountain Course for free after 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Walking is standard, with pull carts available for $10 and Golf carts are available for $25 per person. Clubs can be provided. A beginner-focused free clinic will be held 4:30 p.m. on Mondays at the Practice Range. For those looking to own a set of clubs, starter sets are available for purchase at special pricing at the golf shop.
Active Military Personnel: Any active duty military may play either course after 1 p.m. for $25 per person; restrictions apply.
Play Both Courses: 36 Hole special only $199 in 72 hours, includes cart.
Twilight Special: Play 36 holes after 4 p.m. for $129, includes cart.
MVPP Reward Card: Buy six entrees, salads or sandwiches at The Grille at the Championship Course and receive the seventh free. Join the Most Valuable Patron Program by picking up a MVPP Reward Card at The Grille, open daily at 11 a.m.
Tuesday Power Play: Make your tee-time Tuesday after 2 p.m. and you are eligible to win a free round or Golf Shop merchandise credit at the Mountain Golf Course.
6 After Six: On Wednesdays after 6 p.m. enjoy a clinic on six fun holes of golf at the Mountain Golf Course.
Time for 9: Saturday and Sunday mornings shoot a quick 9 holes on the back nine at the Mountain Golf Course.
Family Tees: Sundays after 3 p.m. enjoy family fun playing from the 75-yard tees at the Mountain Golf Course.
Free Clinics: Free clinics for all golfers are offered at the Championship Course Driving Range from Sunday and Monday at 4:30 p.m. Clubs will be provided free of charge.

Sugar Bowl pass sale
Sugar Bowl announces its 2010-11 season pass sale. Sugar Bowl offers numerous pass types including a $99 unrestricted season pass for ages 5 and under and 70 and over, a $299 midweek pass for all ages, and an unrestricted adult season pass priced at $799. Fourteen other pass types based on passholder age and level of restriction are offered. Current sale prices on Sugar Bowl season passes will remain at the early-season rate through Oct. 31.
