Big Blue Adventure presents the Lake Tahoe 24 adventure race on July 31. The race features more than 15 miles of kayaking on Lake Tahoe; more than 45 miles of mountain biking on single and double track, pavement and fire trails; and orienteering with more than 15 miles of foot travel over single track, sand, pavement and fire trail. Tee Time: Reno Tahoe Golf Academy
I had the pleasure of recently touring the new indoor facility of the Reno Tahoe Golf Academy within the South Reno Athletic Club. The founder of the academy is Brett Kuhnsman who is a PGA golf professional that has been teaching for more than 13 years in Northern Nevada and has helped many discover success with the game of golf. Fish On: Different Faces of the Truckee River
I got skunked … again. This is an all too typical axiom for those fishing the Wild Trout section of the Truckee River that flows through California. Some people that come off the river after a day of fishing stop by the Trout Unlimited office in downtown Truckee and ask me if the Truckee even has any trout in it at all. (more)
